Day 1: Arrival in Edinburgh
Arrive into Edinburgh and make your way to your hotel. Head out to explore the beautiful capital city of Scotland, which is split into two main areas – the New Town with its orderly streets and Georgian mansions, and the Old Town with its narrow lanes and medieval buildings. You can add on an open top bus ticket or visit the newly relocated Edinburgh Gin Distillery in the heart of the city. Edinburgh is a vibrant city, with excellent shopping and restaurants, so you will not be short of things to see and do. Overnight: Edinburgh area.
Day 2: Edinburgh City
Today you can explore Edinburgh a little deeper. You may choose to visit Edinburgh Castle which is majestically situated on top of an extinct volcano with stunning views of the city. You can either use an audio guide (available in several languages) or take one of the guided tours of the castle in English. Why not get hands-on and create your own Harris Tweed handbag or satchel. There are several museums within the castle walls to explore, as well as cafes and shops. Overnight: Edinburgh area.
Day 3: Edinburgh to York (by Rail)
This morning, make your way to Waverley Station in Edinburgh, where you will board a train to York. Sit back and enjoy one of the most scenic train journeys in Britain, as the train travels along the east coast of the Scottish Borders, crossing into England, to follow the Northumberland coast. The afternoon is free to explore York on your own after you check in. The town walls and medieval lanes mean that the city is best explored on foot, Make sure to walk down the Shambles, the most famous street in York where the overhanging timber framed buildings almost touch above your head. You may also choose to take an early evening cruise on the river Ouse that flows through the city. Overnight: York
Day 4: City of York
Today is free to continue to explore York. You may want to take an open top bus tour around the city, or visit one of the many interesting attractions, such as York’s Chocolate Story or Jorvik Centre. There is also the option to join a day tour to one of the two national parks in Yorkshire – North York Moors or the Yorkshire Dales. Overnight: York area.
Day 5: York to London (by Rail)
Journey back to the train station in York this morning, where you board a train for the short journey to London. If you add on an open top bus ticket, you can start using it this afternoon to explore Britain’s cosmopolitan capital city or why not opt for a private black taxi tour to satisfy all curiosities. Overnight: London area
Day 6: London City
Today is free to discover London on your own – why not join a graffiti tour of Shoreditch or a food tour in one the many trendy spots in the city. There are many famous attractions to visit on your own, such as Tower of London and the London Eye, so you will definitely not be short of options. Overnight: London area
Day 7: Departure
This morning, make your way to the airport for your journey home. Otherwise, extend your stay in the capital to take in a west end show or a day trip out to Stonehenge perhaps!

Cancellation Policy
- 45 to 30 days before arrival: 30%–50% cancellation fee
- 29 to 15 days before arrival: 50%–75% cancellation fee
- 14 days or less before arrival: 100% cancellation fee / No refund
- No-show, early departure, or last-minute amendments: 100% charges will apply as per hotel, airline, and supplier rules
